are reservations required?
no, but they’re highly encouraged. reservations require opting into our “unlimited tea” option ($25) and guarantee entry to steamleaf, no matter what time you arrive.
are laptops and phones allowed?
laptops are allowed during daytime tea hours (10am-3pm). no laptops during late-night tea, please.
we encourage you use your time at steamleaf to unplug and put your phone away. feel free to snap a few photos or videos, but please respect the experience of others and try to minimize phone usage. absolutely no phones allowed in the sauna or locker/changing areas.
are there age requirements?
all ages are welcome during daytime tea (10am-3pm) - please note, our space is cozy and intimate and we cannot accommodate strollers. please plan accordingly.
late-night tea is ages 15 and up. sauna and movement classes are only available to clients 18 years old and up.
can i bring my pet?

no pets, sorry. steamleaf does have a house dog, kedzie, who is 12lbs, hypoallergenic, and may be in the tea room during your visit. kedzie does not spend time near/around the herbs or tea leaves.
outside food is permitted during daytime tea hours (10am-3pm) and must be eaten at either the communal table or high top seats. no food permitted on cushion seating.
please eat before arriving at late-night tea (7pm-12am). sometimes steamleaf will offer special snacks or treats.
steamleaf does not have a designated parking lot. we highly encourage walking, cycling, or taking public transit (and even incentivize it).
the kimball bus (82) has a stop outside our front door. there are stops for the fullerton (74) and armitage (73) buses both less than 5 minutes away by foot. the logan square blue line is a scenic 15min walk.
